Pakistan Government have issued orders to seize assets of terror outfits banned under UN Security Council sanctions as per announcement from the foreign office.

According to the same proclamation, now on all the assets of these banned organizations will be under Pakistan Givernment's direct control. This also covers the standards of the UNSC and Paris-based Financial Action Task Force (FATF)

Pakistan Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has confirmed that the government is in the process of taking firm action against all militant groups. However, he avoided to answer a question on timeline for similar action on Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) who has accepted responsibility for recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir in India. LeT and Hafiz Saeed has been banned for the last 13 years by the UN Security Council.

According to main stream Indian media, Pakistan has gone forward with this to show it is complying with FATF (Financial Action Task Force) so that IMF bail out package for Pakistan stays unharmed.
