The foreign ministers of China, Russia and India will meet in Bangalore on October 26 and 27 to discuss trilateral issues

External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna anniunced that the foreign ministers of China, Russia and India will meet in Bangalore on October 26 and 27 to discuss trilateral issues.

Mr. Krishna said his counterparts Yang Jiechi of China and Sergei Lavrov of Russia are scheduled to attend the meeting. The meeting will focus on special strategic relationship of the three countries.

In an interview to the All India Radio, a transcript of which has been uploaded on the website of the Ministry of External Affairs, she said the Ministers will discuss the regional situation and the opportunities that arise to strengthen dialogue between the three major powers in the region.

Foreign Secretary Nirupama said that the agenda for the trilateral meeting had been set. Subjects like energy security, better connectivity, and dialogue between the academic institutions will be discussed.
