They live and prosper 13 billion light years away. The galaxy that houses this advanced extraterrestrial civilization is seen by combining the power of the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope and CARA's W. M. Keck Telescopes on Mauna Kea in Hawaii.

The prosperity and advancement in technologies find no end in galaxy cluster Abell 2218 at the end of the universe. This cluster is so massive that the light of distant objects passing through the cluster actually bends and is amplified, much as a magnifying glass bends and magnifies objects seen through it. Such natural gravitational ''telescopes'' allow astronomers to see extremely distant and faint objects that could otherwise not be seen. The extremely faint galaxy is so far away its visible light has been stretched into infrared wavelengths, making the observations particularly difficult.

Avell 2218 civilization is what perhaps the Mayans saw will visit the earth in 2012. Some UFO experts believe these super beings from the outer edge of the universe visit the earth every few thousand years. They are the protector of this universe.

What will happen on December 21, 2012? Will there be a visitation in secrecy from Abell 2218 or it will an open even that will perplex the whole world once for ever?

The answer lies in the redshift of the object cluster. Redshift is a measure of how much the wavelengths of light are shifted to longer wavelengths. The greater the shift in wavelength toward the redder regions of the spectrum, the more distant the object is. Abell 2218 has a redhift of 7. They are really at the outer edge of the universe. According to Mayans, Abell 2218 will visit earth in December 2012. What is not clear is the fact if the Governments will keep it open or hide it as usual from the public.
