The war is on - conservatives democrats and republicans on the special interest side, the progressive democrats on the side of common American people
Does Rep. Mike Ross, D-Arkansas, know how it feels to live without health isurance in America? He does not. He is well fed white American from a Southen state where a black woman is still expected wear appron (meaning a service lady, a decendent of slaves). Rep. Mike Ross is just one of those Blue Dog coalition of Democrats (conservatives) that represent the special interests such as the insurance companies, the drug companies and those who make money and care little for helpless Americans without any health insurance.
President Obama is fighting for the common people of America. For the first time since John F. Kennedy, an American President is fighting for the poor, the downtrodden, the helpless. Close to 4000 lobbyists and more than 12 Villion dollars are floating in Washington DC to stop the health insurance legislation. The war is on between people of United States and the special intesrests that try to use the race card to stop social justice and equality.
House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman said on Capitol Hill that he is willing to keep talking with members of the Blue Dog coalition, an influential group of fiscal conservatives, but also made clear that he intends to move forward with the legislation.
Waxman, a California Democrat, indicated that he would bypass a committee vote if necessary and bring the bill directly to the House floor for a final vote.
US politicians like Rep. Mike Ross, D-Arkansas are trying to stop the healthcare legislation at any cost. But President is determoned to push it through the Web of Washinton DC’s intricate inner core of money game. Pick yup your phone and tell your Senetor and Congressman – ‘Enough is enough!’ It is time for health insurance for all, no matter what its costs. If the Banks and the GMs and the AIGs of the world can get free trillions of dollars, why can’t every human being living in America be guaranteed a decent health care?
