Jammu and Kashmir Government orders Indian paramilitary troops to withdraw immediately after killing peaceful protestor – violence spreads, CRPF vehicle torched
Sudhir Chadda
Jul. 1, 2009

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah gave the orders for complete removal of CPRF from strife-torn Baramulla district. The Indian paramilitary forces commited atrocities by allegedly firing at a young peaceful protestor who succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.

There is no place for atrocities against common people by the cops and the military in any part if the world. In America racist cops go after colored people. In Kashmir, Indian security forces kill protestors indiscriminately. In China, human rights are violated daily by the cops. In Iran, elections are farce and common people are killed when they protest in the streets. In Pakistan and Bangladesh Hindus are killed for no reasons by the cops. All these must come to an end.

After two days of protests, the Jammu and Kashmir government ordered the pullout of CRPF from the area to ease tension. It is the right thing to do. These CRPF personnel had no business killing the Kashmiri youth.

Vilent protests have broken out in strife-torn Baramulla district of Kashmir on Wednesday as protestors pelted stones and burnt an ambulance on the streets.
