No power, no water - what kind of a capital is this?
Special Correspondent
Jul. 1, 2009

There is no water for the last two weeks and whatever little water people get, it is very dirty and unfit for consumption. When they go to complain to Nelhi Jal Board (DJB) office, no one listens to them. The officials do not give a dam about the concerns of the common people.

The angry residents of the Indian national capital protest over power cuts and severe water shortage. There is no end of the problem. It is a case of total mismanagement and lack of planning by the Indian authorities.

Angry residents of the capital protested by shouting slogans and throwing earthern pots in the middle of the road.
