The final collapse in Indian IT outsourcing has started – body shoppers doomsday is here
Harish Baliga
Dec. 16, 2008

Indian IT outsourcing made up of a bunch of spice traders trying to make a few dollars on human software programming bodies is finally coming to an end.

India’s biggest body trader has finally accepted the dooms day. It was wrong to trade cyber slaves in beginning, it wrong now. It must come to an end just slavery ended in America.

According to media reports, Chairman of Wipro Ltd, Azim Premji, on Tuesday said economic recession is also "happening" in India and warned that it may intensify as the nation goes forward, making the successful companies much stronger but wiping out the complacent ones.

Delivering the inaugural speech at the TiE Entrepreneurial Summit 2008 (TES 2008), he said, "We are coming into a very interesting time. We are coming into restructuring of global economies. It’s not just a recession of global economies. I think we are seeing it happening also in India. You will see it intensifying as we go forward".

The successful companies would come out of it (recession) much stronger, he said, adding "the less successful companies will keep crying and crying and throw up their hands, blaming external people and ask government for aid".
