Mumbai Police goes after 15 suspects whose names were passed on by the Gujarat police for Delhi blasts
Media Release
Sep. 14, 2008

Mumbai Police were investigating the links and possible connection to Saturday's Delhi serial blasts of 15 suspects whose names were passed on by the Gujarat police, an official said here Sunday. Additional Commissioner of Police (Anti-Terrorist Squad) Parambir Singh told media persons Sunday afternoon that the names of 15 suspects came to light when the Gujarat police interrogated those arrested in connection with the July 26 serial blasts in Ahmedabad. Singh said the possibility of these 15 people being linked with the Delhi blasts was being probed from different angles. Referring to the terror email from the Indian Mujahideen sent from a factory in Chembur, Singh said officials from the cyber crime cell and the police were probing the matter. The Indian Mujahideen had sent the email to media organisations Saturday evening, taking responsibility for the Delhi bombings.
