Afghans are increasingly agitated against the US troops and coalition forces for killing civilians for no reasons
Balaji Reddy
Sep. 1, 2008

Afghans are alleging that US troops and NATO troops are killing Afghan civilians for nothing. The war on terror is transforming into a racial war between white Christian dominance and brown Muslims. NATO and U.S. military officials are refusing to comment on the allegations. But the Afghan people are on the verge of revolting against the Christian dominance and highhanded attitude of the US troops and NATO forces.

Hundreds of protesters blocked a road in Kabul on Monday accusing U.S.-led troops of killing three members of a family, including two children, in a raid in the city, residents and witnesses said.

Residents said U.S.-led troops carried out a pre-dawn raid in Hud Kheil area in the eastern quarter of Kabul, killing Noorullah and two of his sons, one of whom was eight months old.

"It was past one o''clock when the troops came and surrounded our houses," said Sulaiman, a resident.

"They threw hand grenades on one house and killed three family members," he said. Noorullah's wife was wounded, he said.

The August 22nd episode when Afghan and US led coalition forces killed scores of Afghan civilians including 60 children, the Afghan leaders became really upset. US troops and European NATO forces are increasingly considered as White Christian crusaders killing innocent civilians for little if any reason.

The US commanders and Afghan commanders yesterday put blame on the August 22nd episode on the civilians who fired first. But can that be a reason to kill more than 6-0 children?
