Given McCain is very old and sick from cancer; does Little-Known Palin have the intellectual capability to become President of United States? What about McCain?
Rajiv Kashyap
Aug. 30, 2008

It is one thing to get elected and serve as a Mayor of a remote town with 8,000 residents. It is also an ostensible fact that she is a great Governor of Alaska. But what really matters in the oval office is the shrewd judgment and intellectual capabilities that steer a great super power towards grace avoiding pitfalls like Iraq and subprime mortgage meltdowns.

US President George bush never had that required intellectual capabilities. He went to Yale and Harvard because of the provided privileges to the Bush family and the so called ‘connections.’ He is a failed businessman who decided to join the political arena because he could not do anything else. Just like he could not run a business, he led America to disaster from every aspect. Of course some neo cons like Disk Cheney achieved their personal goals at the cost of the former failed businessman. But when one gets clobbered from unwarranted exploitation like Cheney did to Bush, you cannot blame Cheney, and instead you may have focus on the lack of smart and intellectual capabilities of the Bush.

The bigger question right now is if Alaska Governor Sarah Palin have the intellectual capabilities to become the President of US, given the fact that McCain is very old and is suffering from Cancer. Of course the Obama campaign is actually pointing their finger to McCain himself. Does McCain have smarts to lead America at this stage? America does not need an Air Force Pilot to lead the country who has the daredevil temperament of his own. America perhaps need someone who has worked with the common people and have the intellectual smarts needed to pull US out of shameful embarrassment in world of international politics, finance and healthcare shame.

It is one thing to hunt some Moose and eat them in Alaska. But it is something entirely different when it comes to leading US in this difficult time. Governor Palin’s high school records and college transcripts show explicit weakness in the fact that she never topped her class in academics. As a matter of fact, she was just mediocre like George Bush, the current President of US. She did not have the connections to end up in Yale and Harvard Business School like George Bush had.

Neither McCain nor Palin have the intellectual capability that is required. Like George Bush both of them will take America deeper into catastrophic problems of international affairs and mismanagement of economy.

One thing is for certain that McCain selected his VP after meeting Palin twice. That tells you the temperament McCain has. Can we really trust this guy who sings ‘Bomb bomb bomb...’ in his past time with nuke triggers to kill us all?
