I-Day for India shameful after surrendering Indian nuclear sovereignty to American corporate interests
It was a different kind of Independence Day. An Italian woman married to the Gandhi family today rules India. India has decided to give up its nuclear pride. The economy faces inflation from fiscal mismanagement. Indian talents are used by West to execute their ‘dirty’ jobs in the call Centres of Bangalore and software body shopping centres in Hyderabad.
It was the perfect weather for kite flying in the national capital Friday, what with the breeze blowing just strong enough for a sport that has become a ritual for many on Independence Day.
India celebrated the Independence day with kite flying and theme parties. But at heart the echoes of shame of nuclear surrender and cash for vote fiasco in Indian Parliament reverberates all around India.
India is no longer a true independent nation. Indian national interests are compromised to satisfy the needs of American and European corporations.
The Indian oligarchs buy the communists in India. These Indian oligarchs are eager to ‘buy the Parliament’, corrupt the Indian Military with smell of money, and establish mega deals to share the loot of Indian people with the western oligarchs and their corporations.
Indian traditional values have dwindled. The cities are infested with pimps and prostitutes just like America and Europe. In the Internet, common Indians are taking their clothes off and performing sex on camcorders – something unthinkable even a few years back.
The bad aspects of the American dream has reached India. But Indians fail to absorb the good of America. Still Indians are almost always late in making their appointments. Lies and corruption did not change in Indian business world. Taking money when marrying a woman is still common even among educated Indians.
What has changed is the perception of easy money and its availability in America. People in India are eager to have the higher standard of living. But when they face harder work ethics, they flatly refuse.
The sixty first independence day for India is not a day of pride for India. India needs to wake up and take control over its destiny.
Look at Brazil, it has changed the landscape of its energy infrastructure with alternative fuels from sugar based ethanol and wind energy. India has totally failed pursuing gas from Iran and nukes from America.
